Tapped, is a Freeform teen-drama television series, based on Tapped is based the novel of the same that is currently in progress by Andrew Shaffer that will be Written by Thomas Brandon.
The project came from I. Marlene King, the executive producer/co-showrunner of Freeform's flagship drama series Pretty Little Liars and of The Vampire Diaries fame Paul Wesley.
Plot[]
Tapped is described as The Social Network meets Pretty Little Liars. It centers around three grad students who create a hookup app called Tapped that goes viral and turns the students into overnight millionaires, but also unleashes unwitting dangers into the world that the creators must try to understand and control.
